Dear Rotary Leader,
I am happy to announce that we successfully met our fundraising goal for Rotary Year 2013-14. While it is important to celebrate our success, we recognize that we still need to raise funds and awareness for polio eradication.

Alan at his post with Merv and Stan
On the 15th of July 2014 we said farewell to Alan Wills at his last meeting since joining in 1964. Members were saddened to learn that Alan was leaving the club for health reasons.

Glenyse and Mel preparing the presents
Ho Ho Ho! Xmas came early for many grandparents at the Royal Hobart Showgrounds on Sunday. Our club joined with the Rotary Clubs of Glenorchy and Claremont and the Rotaract Club of Sandy Bay to host OzMas(Xmas in July) in recognition of the many Grandparents Raising Grandchildren and the huge commitment they are undertaking.
A Xmas lunch with all the trimmings was donated and cooked by the wonderful staff at Glenview Nursing Home. (more…)

The Changeover Dinner for the Rotary Club of Moonah was held on Thursday 26th of June 2014, at the Carlyle Hotel .

The Rotary International theme for 2014-2015 is
“Light Up Rotary”, and we’ll certainly be trying to accomplish that this year.
