Our Changeover Lunch each year marks the end of a Rotary year and the beginning of a new one, celebrating the club’s achievements and plans for the coming year. It is also an opportunity for fellowship with partners and former members. There was a special welcome for the new District Governor Michael Cook and Assistant Governor Biddy Fisk. It was also
the opportunity to award a surprised Kevin Quon with a Sapphire Paul Harris Pin and Certificate, recognising 52 years of Service to Rotary and the Rotary Club of Moonah. President Barry Titmus 2019-2020 announced the Directors would continue for another year, thanking them for their work. Fundraising efforts with monthly BBQs and a successful Fashion Parade were supported by our members. The club supported Youth Projects RYDA, RYPEN and MUNA, with our Ogilvy team being the winners this year. Club donations were made to various charities, Rotary Foundation and Rotary Health etc. We look forward to another rewarding year with a new a new event planned for our Calendar. A Community Service event called Ride for Life. Aimed at Primary School students it will be held at the New Town Oval on Sunday September 8th.
